Synder’s LY membrane has one of the largest pore sizes for the PES-based ultrafiltration membrane line, with a molecular weight cut-off of 100kDa. LY has good resistance to pH and temperature and sanitary versions are compliant with FDA and USDA 3-A standards. MAX versions are also available for applications requiring higher resistance to pH and temperature, and also allows for cleaning without the use of chlorine. Other common applications include corn wet milling processes, egg white concentration, and virus removal.

We can design an element to fit your exact needs -just specify the element outer diameter (OD) or vessel/housing inner diameter (ID), element inner diameter (ID), and length. Elements are also available with or without a controlled bypass tail. Additional feed spacers are also available. Trials should be conducted to determine optimal application conditions.
