Dye Concentration

Desalting and dye concentration via nanofiltration membrane technology has become increasingly popular among manufacturers looking to improve the quality of their products and reduce manufacturing costs. Typically, it is desired to reduce the salinity of the dye and it can be achieved through diafiltration, before concentration the dye to the required value.

Synder’s NFX membrane has been tested for the concentration of yellow, red, and blue dyes, and has proven to be able to remove a significant amount of water and salts while maintain over 99% color rejection. The diafiltration and concentration process is an economical solution for customers looking to concentration multiple types of dyes using the same type of membrane in their plants.

Benefits of membrane processes:

  1. Economical choice for the concentration of multiple dyes
  2. Reduction in manufacturing costs
